The Heritage Angel Awards celebrate the achievement of individuals, groups and communities who have helped to rescue, regenerate, research and record built heritage in Northern Ireland.
Ranging from large scale restoration and regeneration projects to volunteers impassioned to promote a local landmark they love, the Heritage Angel Awards are a way to formally recognise the important contributionpeople make to the care and conservation of historic buildings and places.
Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber founded the Heritage Angel programme in 2011. Northern Ireland has been participating in the programme since 2017.
Ulster Architectural Heritage is the lead independent voice for built heritage in Ulster. A not-for-profit organisation, operating across the nine counties of Ulster, we have over 50 years expertise in promoting the value of built heritage, encouraging its protection, conservation and heritage-led regeneration.
In addition to funding and partnership support from the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation, and the Department for Communities, the Heritage Angel Awards are produced in partnership with the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Construction Industry Training Board, and the Architectural Heritage Fund.
