On Thursday 24th July we had a most enjoyable visit to First Dunmurry Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church. After coffee, scones and other delicious treats, we had a fascinating tour of the historic church, the charming former manse and the beautifully maintained adjoining graveyard. Our host, the Reverend Doctor David Steers, gave a very interesting talk on the history of the church and many of the people associated with it. Mrs Sue Steers showed us a wonderful display of architectural records from the archives, including historic photographs and a magnificent map of early Belfast.
