Online Tour - Glamour & Gloom: 1930s Architecture in Belfast

Join UAH, supported by Belfast City Council, for a FREE online tour of Belfast’s Art Deco Architecture, available from 12th February 2021.

Following the success of Open Heritage Belfast in September, UAH has once again teamed up with Belfast City Council to deliver a new online tour. The new tour by Ulster Architectural Heritage will highlight selected Art Deco gems of Belfast; both well-known landmarks and lesser-known private houses. It will also include some of those which have been demolished and those which are derelict or earmarked for demolition.

Take the tour and dive into the past, rediscover buildings that have been lost, find fantastic buildings which you may not have known existed and learn about an era which really defined how we live today.

An exhibition supporting the tour is also expected to be launched in 2021, after which it will travel around libraries in the Belfast area. You can keep up to date by following UAH on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, or signup for updates below.

No download required. Remember, follow government guidance and take the tour from the comfort of home #StayAtHome #StaySafe.
