Join our Heritage Helpers in Recording and Reporting Trials: Newry
About the event:
As part of the Hands-On Heritage Project, Ulster Architectural Heritage have been working on producing a Recording and Reporting App. Over the next couple of months, UAH have organized a series of phased recording and reporting survey trials in order to prepare participants for launch ‘in your area’. With over c.50 Heritage Helper volunteers associated with this project, we would like to extend this survey trial welcome to members of the public!
Phase one trials will take place in four locations across Northern Ireland: Belfast, Newry, Derry/Londonderry and Enniskillen. The events will consist of demonstrations on how best to record and report, a sneak peek of our Heritage: How To? Guides and free time for you to practice and undertake surveys in a controlled area, with staff members available to answer any questions and queries that you may have on the day.
Please note: Due to limited spaces, we ask that you only sign up for one Recording and Reporting Test Event at this time. Groups will vary in size, between 5-10 participants, in keeping with COVID 19 Regulations. Places will be on a first come first served basis. In the case of an oversubscribed event, names will be placed on a waiting list in case of any cancellations. Please ensure that you are available on your chosen date and time.
